The details that decide whether it lasts
A shop saying "30% tint" might mean 30% of light gets through, or 30% darkness. Those are opposites. We state VLT and we check it with a meter before you drive away, so you know exactly what is on your glass.

How long does it take?
A sedan is usually two to three hours, an SUV three to four. You are welcome to wait, or leave the car and we will message you when it is ready.
How soon can I roll the windows down?
Leave them up for 48 hours in summer while the film cures. We will remind you at handover.

How much does car window tinting cost in Abu Dhabi?
At Shams, carbon film starts at AED 600 for a sedan and nano-ceramic at AED 1,200. An SUV is about a quarter more and a 7-seater about half more, because there is more glass. Every price includes a computer-cut pattern, a metered VLT check in front of you, and the film warranty.
How much is tinting for an SUV?
An SUV carries roughly a quarter more glass than a sedan, so expect about a quarter more than the sedan price. A 7-seater is around half as much again. Send us the model and we will give you the exact figure.
Can you remove old or bubbling tint?
Yes. Old film is steamed and peeled off, the adhesive is cleaned back, and the glass is checked before anything new goes on. Removal is quoted separately because badly aged film takes longer to lift cleanly.
How do I clean tinted windows?
After the first 48 hours, any non-ammonia glass cleaner and a soft microfibre is fine. Ammonia-based cleaners attack the film over time. Never use a blade or scouring pad on the inside of the glass.
